i have never tried them and i hope i never have too.  Some guys might like them better but when i'm fishing i want to get stuff done fast and start fishing.  Hook that blade up to an 18V reciprocating saw and you have one mean ice cutter i bet!

Have never used one, but Cabela's has the Nils Master Ice Saw for a lot less than the one on your link.

I have an ice saw not sure who its made by but its the heavy duty one not the icemaster crap its the blue bladed one, it works so good i use it for an auger while panfishing i'll kick anybody's rear when there usuing a manual auger guarenteed under 6 inches of ice under 10 seconds for a 8-10 hole oh yeah they are the POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO P!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
