Lake Waramaug / Mt. Tom

Any one drive by Waramaug or Mt. Tom? any ice on state park side of Waramaug?

Mt. Tom is 1/2 water, but I walked out on it today. I think Wed. morning off the beach should be good for shallow trouting if you try.......
I wish I was in heaven sittin down..........on a 5 gallon pail!

Thanks Oldfart I may be heading up tomorrow morning to Mount Tom to try it out. My early christmas present!

no ice yet    wind has been nuts,waramaug or mt tom

thanks Steve..10 day forecast looks as if I won't be able to get onto Waramaug, getting out Sunday to the smaller ponds

ice is ok on the maug butonlyin certain areas,the park has 4 and is safe a cove b4 arrowhead is also safe,i checked a few shorelines i like and to my surprise there was 4-6...be aware of the airrator?????they are decieving

thanks for the heads up Steve, I knew the edges were solid, just so much wind up there I have not adventured. I have good luck around Arrow. Hit up Wethersfield Cove Fri. afternoon from 2-5, 1 nice pike 20+ and a few perch. maybe head up to maug next weekend.

Good ice on Mt Tom but don't expect to catch much. Troutin' is slllloooowww.
