A few more trout I iced this past weekend. They were a bit finicky but once I downsided to 2lbs test and a size 10 Ratso tiped with a spike...it was on like Donkey Kong!

do you use a flouro leader with that hi-vis line??

No leader.....yet anyway....the line is 2lb test...I apprears much brighter on the spool...nearly invisible in the water. I always carry Fluro leader with me...just in case.

CT Dep has been doing an excellent job stocking the NW corner of the state with beautiful large trout. Thanks DEP & Burlington Hatchery Workers :)
