-52 at the shack Awsome fishing

Well we arrived to -42 and the wife and kids thought it was to cold to go out. So I did what any caring fisherman would do I went myself... Got to the shack and got a fire going. Within 20 minutes I was down to my tee shirt trying to get the auger running. After I got 3 holes in the shack all set up I was planning on doing some cleaning but the fish had other plans had great action all morning no big fish but lots around 26-28 inchs. Woke the next morning to -52 guys at this temperature you dont stay outside for long right? What if you have to take a dump...Not a pleasant experience I care to share with you. Anyhow good fishin and cold.At one point it was -50 outside and the shack was 80 when the door opened it was a steam bath.

What if you have to take a dump...

it would freeze before it hit the ground  ....you need to be careful having your 'dippers' exposed in those temps too...you'll be walking funny for a while...

I heard a story from a buddy of a local dog musher....he was running his dogs in pretty cold temps and one of his dogs were running funny, he stopped to check him out and the dogs' junk was frozen solid... ....so be careful where you poo....lol

Pics you know I brought the camera specifically this time for pics and the wife had it in the purse so I was not about to make any x-tra trips for a camera but I will get some up of the 19.7 and a 16.5 pounders we caught earlier this year.
