All the snow on top is not a good thing.... honestly I think we would be better off if it openned back up and started over.

Just got back from the pond, had to change into dry jeans, socks,& boots, if that tells you anything. >:(  Stepped out just enough to spud, hit the ice 1st time fine, 2nd time spud went through, herd that lovely cracking, then standing knee deep. 1.5" of junk ice.  Only a couple inches of snow though.  :-\
Good news is I checked several places & did find 3.5" going in the morning  ;D made the wet cold legs worth the trip.

it is $100.00 per minute to use my vex when i am on fish ??? $20.00 for each hole you drill with MY auger. $300.00 per hole when you are within 10' of me when i am catching fish. are you grasping the concept here. and you thought that center pin was costly. if you think i am bad wait until you fish with Tyler and you ask him what jig he is getting them on. ::) ::) ::) good luck    :woot:

Adam, ever line a fish through the ice??  Only kidding bro.....don't answer that question!!! I have 4" here on a local pond up the road a piece from my house. Marathon on ice this weekend. Rainbows, Perch, LM Bass & Pickerel are on the menu dude.
I'll bet it's 6" by Saturday. Mike, my bro, is jigging it tomorrow. I hope he takes some pics with his phone.

Last year in 34 feet of water .... I had fish all over my screen, they wouldn't hit , so ripped as hard as I could, found out it was a school of 8lb. sheepsheads, had the sheepie hooked in the side , had to drill another hole to get him through the ice!!!  Had to move , they wouldn't let the walleye come around.
