Which St Clair?

St Clair, Ontario, CA?
St Clair, France?
St Clair, Minnesota?
St Clair, Michigan?
Lake St Clair?

The town of St Clair, MI is on the St Clair River.  I wouldn't suggest any attempt to ice fish there.

Lake St Clair, on the other hand, is full of good fishing spots.  Public access sites include, state boat ramps, Lake St Clair Metro park, and Gino's Surf.  Gino's surf is popular and can be productive.

Also, Ice fishing on Lake St Clair in December is not guaranteed.  Hopefully this winter will produce ice early.

MI DNR web site - http://www.mcgi.state.mi.us/mrbis/mapbasic.aspx
Access to state lands requires a vehicle either a daily or yearly vehicle pass.

Metro Parks web site - http://www.metroparks.com/
There are other parks in the area that offer fishing.  Again, not guaranteed in December.

Gino's surf web site - http://www.ginossurf.com/

I hope you enjoy your time in the area.
