Ice fishin northlake saturday anyone ever fish it any tips would be appreciated

If your talkin about north lake in sweet valley then yes i have fished it but it is private.

..you just need a place to park and then it's game on

..I don't think you need a pass/permit to fish there, but things could have changed.

I was told that they don't want any "outsiders" on there lake.  So yeah i would say things have changed lol. You don't need a pass or anything that i know of either. I'm sure there is someone out there that is like the police  just like anywhere else you go. We have never had any run ins with anyone out there.

There is only one guy that really bothers you.  There are a couple others that will give you the evil eye but don't say anything.

..no that's the way it was when I went. I had permsission to enter the lake off of private property and fished there without any legal troubles.

Yeah i also have permission to get on out there to. I can go there at any given time with out any legal problems.

yea my friends sister lives up there so gettin on wont be any trouble im just wonderin were to start fishin and what to try any types let me know?

everythings nice, but tough finding them...back of lake on mountain side seems to be the best in deeper water...15-20' watch out there, there are 2 giant dock bubblers on left side goin full bore and was some open water.

there is plenty of ice here, just open water from dock bubblers, thats all.

VERY NICE! Looks like a very good day & glad the ice was still good. Don't know what the upcomming rain is gonna do to it. Hope it lasts a little longer fer ya.
