So I know that DEC says that ice fishing is permitted at Rushford but all the guys I know that have ever been, albeit not in many years, always talked about the ice domes and how it was extremely sketchy. But... when they draw the water down it must really create a concentration of the all of the fish and it must be productive. So the question is does anybody know if they actually maintain the water level so there is safe ice or is this a darwin award waiting to happen?
