Almost that time again

Still a month or more until the early lakes down here start to ice over but saw the first bit of snow today so that’s encouraging! I bet it’s getting close up in NW Ont

Yup, getting close here in NW Ontario. I'd say 2 weeks from now the main lakes will start going. Ponds are shore to shore mostly already, all double digit minus ℃ from here on out according to the 15 day forecast and no plus ℃ daytime temps.


Had the last day from shore 3 days ago................
