Anyone have an idea if this will lock up by New Years going to be heading up to Rochester area from the 30th-2nd wondering if there would be a chance at bringing the ice gear up

Will keep you posted have warm up this week a few days with rain
If you sit around all day and do nothing your a bum, but if you sit in a boat all day or in a shanty and do nothing they call you a fisherman

Hit the ice yesterday 5 1/2 inches out in front of 3rd creek the bite was kinda slow but we ended up keeping 19 perch all 12in or longer.

We just stuck with the crowd we hadn't been out yet I'd say we were maybe 100 to 150 yards past the point right in the middle. 15 ft deep. Usually we go way further out to 30 ish or even take the trek out to the west side of newark island but I'm not into the polar plunge so we played it safe

I was on of the many today out at Sodus bay. Could of sworn I heard a drone fly by. I would sure like to see the video of that if anyone post it online

Well first trip out on sodus Friday went over by skippers right across from the south point of the island prolly 30 or so guys out the ice was 4" bit kinda sketchy and walked off about 1030 after a measly 3 perch only 1 that was 11 inches. I would definitely wait awhile after that rain
