Went fishing Thursday - friday...arrived there by 3pm headed out right away pass first island to willow island on the right side and hammered pickeral for 45mins- 1hr..caught 4picks and threw back 5..around 3lbs avg....Went back to camp and headed out 7am to where we left shack..caught one 3lbs pickeral had breakfast in shack and moved on halfway to Ballayntne Bay and set up fished for 20mins...Buddy pulled in a 4lbs Marya and no long after a 8lbs jack..moved further down the lake and caught 2 more 3-4lb picks..was minus -32 but overall a good trip...accomidations were a real ****show setup but got settled finally..would recommend calling ahead andmaking sure they know you want a cabin ready for when you get off the ice..no road plowed but easy going on ice..seen a rav 4 out there..almost 3ft of ice..Would also like to Thank Koda Kontracting for the great Ice hut he built..would have been dam cold without the stove..very nice big 4-man coquette..Always make fishing more enjoyable when ya can be cozzy lol
