Hello all,
Fairly new to the pike fishing "game". I have seen that people soak there smelt in something, but not sure what it is. Any help?
Thanks!!

Salt water and a pinch of coffee creamer. Salt firms them up and the creamer keeks the scales nice and shiney!
You can add a little anise, bait oil, green food coloring etc.... to further inhance your bait. Good luck!- Barleydog
