is pike may 1st or first sunday? bass 3rd sat in june still? dec site shut down

Pike = 1st Saturday in May thru March 15

Bass= 3rd Saturday in June thru Nov 30

or longer on the bass on some of the finger lakes! march 15th also, i believe, not sure of which particular lakes though! i know conesus and honeoye are 2 of them, other than that, i am not sure!

thank you, wife pulled a fast one last night , said " I have to have my vacation time in tomarrow" so I was frantically seaching sites to find out!! dec was shut down..should have been on top of this...thanks again...dave

If it goes through, starting 10/2006 bass season will be year round in NY with Catch and Release during winter and spring. Long Island is not included.

fishenfilet theres general regs for most waters and specific regs for some waters. IE u can keep bass now in most of the finger lakes so read that rule book they gave u when u brought your licence.
