There is still 5-6inches on saratoga lake. Was out there lastnight and also going this morning.

I'm over and down in Saratoga, but have been out to luzerne on the ice almost every year and there is awesome fishing up on Lake George and down here on Saratoga Lake, too.

Camo i was jigging, and i actually caught one on the bottom, cool site to see on the aqua vu, it was maybe 10", i was jigging for perch but they were hard to find, one here , a couple there, ended up with 16 good ones and 3 big gills, it was still nice to be out, but it was WET....i'm talkin 5-6" of water and slush on top of the ice.

cool, WTG

I stopped up there one day last year to escape the wind off LG and we didn't have anyluck in the 1/2 hour that we stopped and jigged. We didn't have any vex or fish finders with us and it was over 20" of ice, so it wasn't early ice.

Damb it's warm out here,iv'e been thinkin bout my castin rod's.I live in gansevoort and fish sara,casayunia,l.georg and thats about all .Been gettin alittle concerned with the ice thickness.Anyone have hope?

Saratoga Had about 8 inches as of Friday. But after the rain not really sure. I would say its still safe but just be careful.

Has anyone had any luck on Lake Luzerne. How are the ice conditions after the warm up we just had? I've been going to Moreua and had some luck but I am just looking for a change of pace.

Any good for bows?
