I live in Buffalo and is just wondering if there is any ice around not looking for place I just have some stuff to check and it would help if I knew if anyone is fishing also if not where is the closest ice to me anything will help thanks

nothing frozen as of yet thats even close without driving 5+ hours.. after tommorrow it might be a diffrent story but hopefully we can get a few lakes completly frozen before the weekend otherwise we might be back to square one..im going to check a spot i ussally fish 1st ice thursday to get an update

how far do you want to drive? Case and harwood near franklinville are froze over won't be too long the fishing isn't the greatest but its better than sitting at home on ice shanty LOL

chataqua froze about 50% last night with most small bays completly froze over hopefully it can with stand this lil warm up we are gunna have

went and checked my early ice spot with it frozen over with about 2inches of ice...2 guys fishing..not enough ice for me yet mayb next weekend or so if it survives the weekend

I found three inches, good ice. Took all day looked at four lakes that are usually frozen first.

I found 3.5 to 4 going early in the morning with gpa 88 years and still on the hard stuff

with the weatherforcast the way it is i think it wont be to at the earliest the 20th that we are on safe ice
