Usually fish between the Twin Islands right next to the Canadian border. Anywhere from 15 to 30 ft or so. Can have great days out there but nothing like 10+ years ago when you could fill up a 5gal pail in a morning. South Bay, Strawberry Acres are other places to check out. Some times late ice on South Bay is great.Fished last Friday and only came home with 25 or so. Very slow day.
i was wondering if people are fishing out off the twin islands. Is the shanty village out there yet? How much ice is there? Are people driving out? My wife made me ask or I can't go.........
A good friend of mine has a brother that lives in the NEK rumor is he landed a 11 pound brown trout on magog. Im supposed to get pics via email, if and when I get the pics I will post them for viewing.
Hey Lenny, was that a brown that dennis caught this year?
not 11 pounds but nice brown either way, love how fishing stories spread. (Image removed from quote.)
i surpose that it was a Malshuk person, who caught this brown, lenny, am I right? I use to babysit these two boy's, when they were young. Goes to show, you can't hide from the babysitter.
LennyTell Dana, I said hi, hope he is doing well. Tell him I see his brother Dennis once in a while, in the local stores here in the Kingdom. His Grandfather lives in the same town as me. Mempfree (CMR)
Lenny, tell Dana, its Cathy, the lean mean, fighting machine. He knows who I am.
