anyone have any hacks for keeping the auger blades from holding so much ice?

keep them cleaned off before you lay it down.

Hand auger, after your done drilling, briskly plunge the bit into the water a couple times, then lift it out fast which helps everything drain off...

Power auger, run it before you shut it off, in this video I made of my old Eskimo, I do that at the end without even thinking about it.. (had to watch it myself to see what I did lol)
