Title: Nero augers
Post by: stinkyfingers on Sep 19, 2018, 06:43 PM: I went looking at HT Enterprise's website for a price on a 7" Nero auger, mostly since they claim that Russian blade steel is hard enough to withstand sandy ice which my Nils won't do. No could find on their website, no mention, no out-of-stock, no nada. Are we somehow crosswise with Putin enough to pull those augers off the market?

That's not a bad price and they have the 7"i n stock. Now I need to understand why I think I need another auger.

If you see the Auger standing up in the snow video. Click on it. That is my Video and the very first time I used that auger in 12" of ice. I start out kinda crooked but then get it going. It was very easy to drill by hand.

No I use a Ridgid drill. Video was before I bought the drill.

Lefty, I don't think that's the "doing it by hand" that Slayer's talking about.

Left Handed when ever I get a chance.
