I don't use ice cleats myself. I have a pair of Pac boots that I put 1/4" hex head sheet metal screws into... they do the job well for my boots.

sounds strange but on heavy soled boots like that I take number 10 hex head self drilling screws 3/4" long and put them right in the bottom of the boot. They work great and if one pops out you screw in another. they won't let you down. and you don't have to keep buying expensive cleats.  Great fishing!!!

The XL HT sandal style should work well.

I rock a size 15 boot. I use these, pricey but worth it. https://sportsmensdirect.com/shop/ice-hopper-creepers/

XL Stabilicers

This is what I got. Should have them today. I got the ones with the strap for over the toe. We will see how they work.

I bought some 1/2in. long stainless steel hex head screws (7 in each boot) and screwed them into the soles of the boots I use for ice fishing only.  They never slip and they work better than any cleat that I have ever used.

XL Stabilicers

X 2!

Studding your boots is great if that is all you are going to use them for, but I use my Stabilicers year round when wading rivers or fishing the rocky coast... I have "marked" up a few things forgetting to take off my Stabilicers, I would hate to think about how many things I would destroy if I studded my boots! LOL...

I used $1.64 worth of sheet metal screws and studded my Lacrosse iceman boots today. Was awesome out on the ice. Walking on the concrete reminded me of the good old days of metal golf spikes. These are my dedicated ice boots so things are good with floors etc. Wont work for everyone but is an excellent way to go for those of us that take our shoes off before going in the house. I can't drive with these big boots on either. They cover the clutch and brake with one boot.

I had same problem with those cleats on my mickey mouse boots 11W
so I went to dollar store and bought a couple DOG Leases and collars
one with small plastic snaps, took them and sew them on
the cleat so them go around back part of boot and over boot
black one over foot green around ankle area
they are holding so far

I only have size 11' but I use Large stabilicers and they would fit a much larger boot.  I would certainly imagine the XL Stabilicer would fit great.   They are a fantastic cleat.  Last pair I will ever have to buy for sure.  I can't see where they will ever give/break/wearout
