Sweet setup! I like the stove inside.
Nice job boys Is that a take out window on the side? If it is I like my venison rare You'll have a lot of good times in that shanty this winter-enjoy!
WTG men!!!....very nice job on the shanty.....now.....if you can get your teacher(s) to assign your schoolwork out of the class, you could fish and study at the same time.....terrific handywork.....Grump
not bad for a coupe of 14 year old boys eh?
Not bad at all guys! I'd be proud to fish out of that baby. What kind of hole setup do you have?
I see, it's more of a lodge than an fishing shack . cool. I can see some good meals coming out of there after a long day of fishing.
Hey Shrub, let me echo everyone else and say you two did a real sweet job. Forget being 14! That shack is great if it was built by adult union carpenters. (Maybe even better - hehehe). Here's a small tip.You mentioned about heating it with the stove. It works but stoves are designed to heat pots and pans, not air. Small propane heaters, like the Buddy heater, have a lot of surface area and work far more efficient, allowing you to turn it down to a lower setting and get the desired heating you need. So if you guys start burning through a bit more propane than you wish to - consider a small separate heater like the Buddy. Also, the Buddy has a built in oxygen sensor which shuts off the unit if you start generating to much carbon monoxide and deplete the oxygen in your shack.no we have heater, my buddy had the stove and heater on the other day. we plan on gettinga carbon monoxide dectorJust be careful. We all want to see you guys on this board for a LONG time.Good luck this year. And, again, great job.Mac
I'm lovin the CB radio lol. Good job man
