Has anyone purchased the new COLD-SNAP parka or bibs from vexilar yet and if so how do they measure up!!!!!

I haven't yet but plan on it soon. I heard that it was made by the same people that make the IceTeam outfits

Check out the StrikeMaster web site...they are offering ice fishing clothing also...quite a bit lower priced than Vex!

I just recieved mine today. They look pretty impresive. I'm not sure how they would compare to the Ice Armour. By the way I checked out the Strikemaster site and they are more expensive than the Vexilar clothing.

I am actually going to use them on Saturday in the boat. Temperatures are right around the freezing point.

I just received my Cold Snap bibs today. (Reeds) They look solid and have lots of pockets, zippers, and velcro. Tried them on and they fit great which shocked me because I'm 5-9 and my inseam is about a 30; waist 35. I went with the large, hoping they wouldn't be way to long or loose, and it worked out. They felt a little heavy out of the box, but quite comfy once I tightened up the belt and put on the shoulder straps. Now if only we had ice!

what i seen on the computer is that they are not water proof only water resistant as i recall thats why they are cheaper and that ice armor has to be pretty warm when i got mine the suit is like picking up a sack of spuds(pretty haevy) hope it works as good as i think it will

Just Got my Vexilar bibs in the mail. They fit great. Going to go out in the 10 degree weather for a bit right now. I really like them so far.

Now that I have the bibs, and talked my wife into getting me the parka for x-mas, Reeds has put both items (and the Strikemasters)  on sale. Just a heads up as it is just for this weekend. Never would have guessed they would put ice fishing stuff on sale this close to the holidays, go figure!
