WHAT'S PLAN B? (GULL LAKE)

Anyone interested in a road trip up north if Gull's ice is not safe tomorrow? Breaks my heart to think that but the warn temps and rain have me a little concerned. Been looking forward to the gathering for quit awhile. Iceman29 and i are going to head up north somewhere if it's not safe, so PM me or respond if anyone else is interested.

I was planning on being there also. What time were you going to Gull? I would drive farther if gull isn't safe.

If you guys go to Higgins, I'll make sure I look you up since I'll be fishing Houghton all weekend.  From everything I'm hearing/reading, there is absolutely NO question about the ice at Higgins.  They have barely been above freezing the last two weeks with several nights in the single digits or below zero, and the smelt fishing reports have been good.

I am planning on checking the ice at lunch today on Gull and will report back later.  My guess is it should be OK.  It is plenty cold today and even colder tonite.
