Same deal at Gander as Bass Pro.  Whatever is left is left. I was looking for 3 specific things and 1 they were already out of stock, the other 2 they did not even have on order to receive any this year even though they sold out last year.

I guess it kind of makes sense when you have had several poor ice condition seasons in a row and the stores end up having to sell it all out on clearance, but it is still frustrating when you are looking for particular items and cant get them at a local store.

Good day on the perch today south of Bucks. Great ice but slick!!! 9 inches measured. There is a new Bait Shop in Auburn. Casey's on Osborne and Elizabeth,  He has Fatheads and Pike Bait. Its a new operation. Finally Local Bait! His number is 315-515-1618.

Was out on ensnare from 8-12.  I got skunked but everyone else was catching them like crazy. They were catching on white jig head with minnow near bottom. Very frustrating when everyone around you is catching and you are just fishing

Perch around Bucks and north of Peterson pt south of Bucks. Grubs, minnows jigs, silver/blue. Lakers at Ensinor, shiners jibed or tip up, 130 - ? Deep. Ice good. South not too much.

Same here on slow bite. We fished from 7-3 and only landed 7 for 6 guys. Sounds like we left too early though. ???

You could make a weekend out of it. The Crappie Derby in Whitney Point is this Sat (8th). Over 13 grand in prizes. Fish Owasco Sunday. That's what we're looking to do.  ;D ;D

It was kinda slow Sunday for us, but I noticed the guys with good electronics had good luck targeting them in mid column from 70 down. I hit one jigging at about 120 down over 160fow. There is a lot of fish suspended. Next time out with tip ups I will set them from near bottom to 100 foot down.

Me and my bro were out in storm yesterday at ensinore, the drag was brutal! Good 6 inches of snow on the ice and slick as snot. Wear creepers. The pressure ridge at ensinore was very very wet so be carful guys. Oh and the fishing was awesome!!!
