Of course! Most would.  Get out there and wet a line!  Where there's a will there's a way.  I'm sure some others here know him, there's a guy with 1 arm that fly fishes the Salmon River for 15-30lb fish in current while in a crowd.  Amazing to watch his success.  How bad ya wanna fish?

The employment of effort, hard work, time, and energy put in locating fish will offend noone.

Cutting holes might be good physical therapy.(KIDDING) Of course I would. I would cut 2 right next to each other that way when you start catching fish I could use the other one. Go out and catch some fish.

I have cut holes for people in the past. Last year I was at a local lake, and saw an elderly gentlemen with what appeared to be his grandson trying to use an old rusty antique of a auger trying to cut a few holes. This guy looked like he was about to have a heart attack. I went over and showed him what the Nils was all about. I zipped in a couple of holes for him quick, and they were very gracious. Its always nice to help out, especially when kids are involved.

How come when I was in a sling you made me run my own auger, and pull my own sled. That's probably why I have to go in for my 3rd operation :(

saw a couple of hillbillies here in indiana come out with one jiggin pole, a pry bar, and a case of bud light tryin to bust open old holes. Had a good chuckle then let them use my jiffy... I got a lot of flack for this in the indiana section. But wouldn't you watch em swing for a while first? Guess it wouldn't be so funny if they were down on there luck and trying to feed their famalies. They weren't too broke to buy a case of beer though! ;D
