Bird,thank you it is great that you are willing to share your knowledge with us who come here to learn from others. I have been ice fishing for two years or so, and it truly is nice to get tips for a more knowledgeable guy.

43 perch in 2 short trips to harris as of last week. 2 perch today on MDB..

$:-\$ 2 perch, my first time there but how da heck does that happen. once the nwbay freezes its hundreds per week .that i dont post and hide like an antisocial addict with a secret.lol. 2 perch, still inshock. oh well . i heard the huddle was good as well dam yankee. no much ice i heard though

Reading your post made me feel a little better about my lousy day...sorry.Went off of shepards' beach about noon today with two friends today.Didn't mark a fish till about 3:30 and only caught 5,one friend caught 1 and other buddy never had a hit.Granted,I haven't fished there in 20 years and maybe I should have gone back to harris but I can't remember the last time I caught 5 perch.I've limited 5 out of 6 times this year in no more than 3 hours.Today was deffinately humbling ...sounds like I had some company.

today was awesome on virgin ice kept 20 perch 11"to 13" prolly threw back 100 8"and9" i also kept a 23"laker and released a 21" laker and lost 1 at the hole

had a good day today with my boys iced 3 lakers one short-26-27and 2 short salmon ice was good 7.5 inches rode 4 wheeler up the lake from mdb

nice pics. glad to see some salmon being caught. heard a nice one was caught the other day by a friend of a friend that called when we were out on another lake. Any wheelers making it up north of daimond island yet?

Mealworm and I got into some murderous perch action today. I limited out in just a few solid hours jigging. Most of my day was catch and release. I released more than 50 more (keepers imo). I was getting real annoyed at the tipups until I saw a spool spinning hard. Chock up another solid 50 for me

. And 1 laker to boot.

it's at the top of the picture so b/c of the angle and the way the fish is rolled it looks shorter than it is.

had another great day on the king i landed 6 lakers only 2 keepers my buddy caught a keeper and my other buddy got a really nice salmon plus one short one.we also lost a few one really big one and a beautiful snowy sunset to boot.
