THAT depend on how far north you go,and the size of the water
if you go back to where you fished last year, you should be on the ice

I have checked my records,and the earliest i have been ice fishing is nov.15 1985 in holton maine for pannies

Looking at the weather for the next 3 weeks we should start producing ice on some of the smal ponds and lakes in the any area quite soon
