he's a professor here at the university of manitoba... he does amazing work with finding the limits of the human body's exposure to the cold. Works with local fire departments, and search and rescue to show them about hypothermia victim's abilities to help them during a rescue, time frames, etc.

It's good to see these types of videos before time. Someone that's an expert and seeing them struggle, really puts it home and locked in ones brain. Bottom line is, think quick about what happened. Don't panic and get back to that spot of safe ice. Also, keep those ice picks handy.

Thanks GDC. I haven't seen that one. As a Saltwater Kayaker I found it very pertinent.
Both are must sees. Just goes to show it doesn't have to be freezing out.
