Well seeing my prediction for Dec. 16th has passed  ::)  ::) I'll go for Jan. 17th in the Flint area. Maybe the goose hunting will be good with these warmer than usual temps.

Everyone can blame me!!!! I have had my icefishing gear in my vehicle for 4-5 days since I thought I was gonna be able to get out. However, I DID REMOVE it last evening! So from this point on it won't be my fault!!

Hang in there it has to happen sometime!! The excitement and anticpation just makes us miserable and the longer we go...well you know...I won't say it!

I honestly just don't see us getting on in the weeks to come. I think we will be lucky if we get 2 weeks in Feb to fish...

My guess (er, really a hope): January Friday the 13th.

Would be expected to be an unlucky day, but I think we need some reverse psychology at this point.

After checking the 16 day outlook,I'll say the last week of January in sw mich.if not we'll keep fishing from the boat,its nice not having all the skiers and rubber neckers driving by 1/4 throttle throwing waves at ya.

Caught the tail end of the report but they had to do an ice rescue of a lot of fisherman on the ice on Mil Lacs, in Minnesota yesterday. We are not alone.
