Buying a new Shanty
« on: Oct 29, 2003, 06:32 PM »
Guys I havent had any luck with the repair on the old Trap II so I need to buy a new one. I like the Shoremaster, Frabill and Otter all in a large two man. I need to know your opinions on the following.
   A. do they need to add weight to the bottom of the canvas to keep out the wind and elements?
   B. Can you haul them with a snowmobile fast without the cover blowing off.
C.Do you need to add the HY-Fax runners? Your comments will be appreciated as I am still in muck on this one.
Thanks, Sturge

check out the clam 6800. big and spacious but big on price.
It's not how deep you fish, but how you wiggle your worm !!!
