Eagle Claw at BPS?
« on: Dec 15, 2014, 11:53 PM »
I noticed Bass Pro had a lot of Eagle Claw jigs on their website. Did Eagle Claw always have ice fishing jigs or is this something new. Anyone tried them?

Can't say I've ever seen eagle claw jigs before, but if they are like their open water jigs you don't want to waste your money. Paint falls right off and hooks are dull and rust with humidity.

I seen EC jig packs at Scheels in Omaha last week .... if you do buy any i would clear coat over the jigs as the paint will chip off . if you don't have access to epoxy paint ,clear finger nail polish works in a pinch.
i almost bought a pack , cheap enough, then i passed .

El Junko. Check out Fiskas, Clam's Drop jig or the pricey Brantner's...

Eagle Claw is poor quality and a waste of time and money.
