Title: Transducer support arm on Genz box
Post by: bcbisonangler on Mar 04, 2019, 03:48 PM
How do you guys mount a transducer support arm to your Genz Box.  Do you put it on the box itself, or the head mount?  Also, which arms do you guys use?

Put it on the box. Checkout coby manufacturing I just picked a a support arm for my helix 5 $10.00 free shipping. They seem to have arms for every brand. You can live chat and they will tell you the exact arm you need.
Keep it safe! JDL

I use the Vexilar cable support arm, part# FS0011. Mounted the arm, using one of the screws in the gimbal  bracket . Also use a 1/2 flat faucet washer as a spacer/friction disc between the arm and gimbal bracket.

My genz box came with a eyelet that you screw into the front of the box. The genz box should have a 1/4 20 threaded hole in the front if it does buy an eyelet and screw it in.
