Heard from the hatchery today - there are some fish in the creek. They hope to be operating, possibly some day next week.

The ice was like a jigsaw puzzle with smashed up edges at sunset. I am really curious to see what it looks like this morning.

By the looks of things in the constantia area the ice is all off the lake. Some chunks here and there but blue water as far as I can see.

Last night on Ch5 they had a video of the ice rolling up onto Sylvan Beach someplace...I've never seen it live like that before...kinda awesome to see ICE breaking on the shoreline like a BIG wave crashing on the beach...but in slow motion...Really kool to see.

The way these winters have been lately it probably saves a lot of perch and eyes from getting the knife.

Howdy all. I'm gonna get rid of the itch tomorrow morning. Thinking will be in oneida in less then 2 weeks. Will see if this wind cooperates.

Those burbots too. They get pounded in some spots during the ice season.
