rattling and a reelin

What line do you guys use for rattle reels I mainly do walleyes and I have friends who use sinking fly line but it's expensive so I was looking at vinyl tip up line or. 20lb flouro what o you guys use

just typical tip up darcon. then a leader of mono or power pro.
