I would suggest getting a bucket caddy like this one at Bass Pro Shops or Frabill makes one I like a little better.

I'll try to post a pic later (I'm at work right now) but I use 1.5 inch diameter pvc to make rod holders (I have three on my bucket) and also to hold my skimmer. My fish bucket (cut off 5gallon) goes inside my larger bucket and I have a "half moon" type seat so I dont have to stand up or open a lid to drop fish in.

This is my rig, everything I need all in one spot. I carry it from hole to hole and kneel on the ice when I fish. I hate sitting on buckets and when I want to sit down I go to the shack. ;)

Here is mine (sorry it took so long, its been one of those weeks). I usually only carry it when we are going out on the 4wheelers. If we are walking out I am pulling my stuff in my sled.

Here what I use.  I like the square buckets, they take up less room.  I use the 1 1/2 pvc, and use zip ties to hold in place.  I have the tip ups or weeds in the center.  It slides inside another bucket for the catch.

We have 2 cats so we have plenty of those style tubs. My problem is I stuff my poles in there and they always get tangled. I bought
one of these fishing chairs that have rod storage in the back and I don't like how it holds rods in place. Especially different size rods. It
also had you sitting higher than a bucket. Hard to jig from this position.

I have the BP Bucket Caddy; good item for cheap $ but the strap loosens alot. Still better than throwing everything together in the bucket. Pliers sheath comes in handy...

Silvercreeker;

I had a friend once we all called Johnny-cat.   He hate being called it, so it worked even better.

Poll:    keep or loose the tidy cat?

Loose.

Just funning.   They make a 7 gallon bucket that is a bit taller and easier to sit on, and it holds more stuff.  They come in square too.

The "Ice Men" tv show, shows one of the competitors using a modified bucket with a flasher and 2 rod holders welded on a bracket.  Looks cool.

I think a powered lawn mower morphed on the end of a couch would be a good one. Little tire chains on the wheels, and skis on the back end.

Sounds like a summer yardsale project.

Hey Silvercreeker!
I saw they had your bucket at Walmart on a end cap. We usually get our litter from the back row. I am
switching brands to get the bucket. Think the cats will mind? (HA!HA!)

That's a good idea I usually turn them cat litter pails into bait or live wells. I get usually 1-2 weekly ( moms has a lot of cats) never sure what to do with them sometime they in up in the trash.

Here is the seat cushion I have it cracked on the plastic bucket side cause it was really cold out..  all I got to do is email them and get a new one cause it life tI'm warrantied..  .. just have not had a chance yet.... also trying to come up with a light set up , flasher mount , and rod holder set up.. but it will take some time to get mine the way I want it.. i do like that ice hopper will see what I can come up with for the flasher if any thing??  Also seen a bungee cord set up  for rods you make loop knots in the bungee cord.. then bungee cord thew hole in bucket to hold the rod butt..  then wrap a bungee  cord w/hooks around the bucket so the tip does not let the but fall out of other bungee.. but is going to take dome time to finish ..

Link below to seat cushion I got now with life time warranty that broke..
