Eureka Lake
« on: Jan 08, 2011, 05:54 PM »
Well was out on eureka Lake from 10:00 am to 1:30 with the wife theres a big hole where the geese have kept the ice open. but walked right up to the edge and seems that 5" to 6" was the norm for most of the ice west of the boat ramp. Until You get further west around the bend where it seems to be iffy along with the north bank. Didn't venture by the damn but the snow looked dry on the dam end so it looked ok but alot of iffy ice on the north bank and the far west end. The fishing was slow with water clarity cloudy, caught one dink gill and a crappie with a few more hits and alot of marks in 10-12' fow. just thought i'd post it.........
good safe fishing for all! @)
