I checked Sylvan a few days ago & there was 5 in at the launch but about a hundred yds there was only 2 in. This was before we had the two cold nights. I think most of Sylvan shoud be pretty good by now. Check the ice on your way out.

Well, I got bait. Picked up 6 dozen fatheads, and am ordering a pound on Wed. for in the tank. Now just have to actually get out on the ice! Not sure where the boy and I are going this week, but with him off school for the holidays, we are going to head out at least twice, possible 3 times.

Just got back from Tobyhanna. Driving rain and 34deg, steady 20mph wind no fun.

Plenty of ice. A good 8"

Park roads closed due to lots of ice.

Not a soul out there.

Hey Snagger ,how is it going. I just had to get out today. Was more woried about a tree full of ice fallen on me more than anything. But ,you know bad weather never stopped me fro trying. I was soaked when I made it back to the truck. My bait is happy and healthy.Now I just have to get them in the lakes.

The big one was 18 " and I would guess 3.5 lbs. When I took the pic for a measurement he arched his back and I lost an inch. The others where my friends fish from 12 to 16 ". They put in 30 breeders and I was the only one to get one so far.

Yeah, I had tip-ups right to it 4"of black ice .

2 streams feed the lake one was open all the way across. 6' deep 2' off the bank.
