We have a foot of ice on Lake Wausau, it is safe and getting safer with this cold snap.  I've had my shack out there for almost 2 weeks.  This last Sunday there were cars and trucks driving out.
As always, be safe.  Check the local bait shop for conditions, and if you're not familiar with the area, go with someone who is, or at least go where the others are, and ask where there may be bad ice due to springs or a channel.

Lake Eau Claire, Lake Martha, Dells Mill Pond, Lake Altoona, around here there's pretty good ice
The fishing is always great, the catching however, always isn't

They're driving on them around the Clear Lake to north of Turtle Lake so ther should be.  Had 12" yesterday on a little lake north of Turtle Lake.

For Door/Kewaunee County ice conditions, people are fishing Dyckesville (5-6"), Rileys Bay (8+), and Little Sturgeon (8-11").

I've been to many lakes in the last month and now that we got that cold snap, I'd say that you should have atleast 8in on any given lake in the northwest
