]I haven't fished it for a while but we used to catch our limit and then some with 6 people  and 10 tip-ups.  The size range we caught was 2-7#, mostly 3-4#.  You could have 3 flags at the same time.  FUN DAYS!!!!![

what time of year do you do your northern fishing on the clam? I've fished there in the past, but for panfish. Clam has some decent panfish also.

Umm go up past Cumberland to Straight River, good bass, pike, and panfish fishing. clear water, between 3 guys we caught over 300 panfish, about a dozen pike and had many flags, ran out of shiners in an hour and a half (doz. and a half shiners). We started using little bluegills and still got flags. We were up there on a slow day supposedly. Usually they catch more and bigger pike and bass up there
The fishing is always great, the catching however, always isn't

Yellow lake is where we decided to go. Only problem we had to get a motel in siren. Have to plan a little earlier next year.
