I thought I would like to share a photo & story about my friend Billy Rich.
Here is a photo of him holding a 30" Walleye he got 2 days ago on a small private pond in northern Illinois.
It was caught on a waxworm & small panfish jig with 4# test & took over 5 minutes to get thru the ice! It was also released after the pictures were taken!
My GUESS is it would have qualified for an Illinois ice fishing record if kept & taken to a certified scale too!
