Just because it may have got cold does not mean that the ice is now going to be safe please know the lake you will fishing or traveling on dont just go out because other people are on the ice this just happened last night at a lake that is twenty minutes from me.

Can't stress that enough, you have to be safe when you're out on the ice this winter. Stay on top guys! 8)

thats to bad, really is. ought to find a safer way of having fun, you think there is anychance he was gunning accross the lake and hit open water without knowing it was even there?

He did not know it was there because last night it was snowing to where you could not see 100 yds. in front of you and if he knew it was there is would not be smart because there is a heave on both sides of it if you missed the water you were going for a ride threw the air.
