Helix/striker off drill batt?

Anyone try running a sonar unit off of a drill batt? I know it can be done with the flashers looking for run time on a drill batt

What size battery are you using. This is a M18 9amp and I haven't been out longer than a few hours with it.  :tipup:

Just spoke with a buddy using this setup and getting 9 hours with the HDS 5.

I juat picked up a striker 5 and i run a 4ah ryobi on my drill .
