The exterior tin is just used tin from a building that I had to tear down for someone, it was going to scrap. So I acquired the tin. Going to have more pictures soon

The interior is finished for this year, I just have a bit of welding on the jack mounts and the where the cable is hooked on the axle instead of it being attached to the spring  ;D ;D ;D

Nice looking Shack!  I liked the idea of cutting down the 2x4's - very smart!  Looks like you will enjoy it for many years.

Got the ceiling fan installed

The drop down axles are finished and works great.

Sorry for the really large pictures, still learning how to post.

Just have to get my deep cycle batteries installed, then wait for the ice to be firm up enough.

Thanks for the comments too.

 THEN FISH ON!!!

Are those battery powered lights or do you have them wired in? I am looking for some battery powered for mine , preferably LED.

Great looking shack, looks very well thought out

They are just RV lights wired in and I installed LED bulbs. I bought the bulbs from eBay. I'm impressed with your shack as well. I like your wood stove, nice emblem on the door 👍👍👍. I'm already thinking of going wood heat for next year.

-30C and no snow on the lake from the recent storm. A buddy and I went and drilled some holes on our local lake and found 9" to 10" of ice. Probably head out fishing tomorrow with the portable shack. We're going to give the lake a few more days to harden up to take the new build out for the maiden voyage, LOL.  ::) ;D ;D

Got the shack out a couple of weeks ago, no issues taking it out. We have approx. 20 inches of ice on the lake. I moved it today with the foot of snow we just received recently, it pulled great. Gotta like the Toyo tires on the truck as well  ;D Also the fishing has been good too.
