This locally home/hand-made sled was made over 30yrs ago.  After many mods & improvements, I finally put it out to pasture and sold it to another ice fisherman last year.

Do you think that it works better with the skis then before you had to put them on?  Ive got the same sled and was thinking about trying out skis but did'nt no if it was worth it

I thought it was conduit too but that might be hard to find. I hammered the ends of conduit flat. I'll post pics if I can.

My sled at the moment:

I picked it up at fleetfarm on sale accouple seasons ago, and have used it a few times to haul the auger and heater as is.  The Denali has it's own sled and hauls the rest of the stuff in the bottom of it.  That being said, I've gotten some pretty good ideas and inspirations from this thread to make a nice rack that will organize the "stuff" better than just tossing it in.  Hoping to get started on it this weekend with my son...after we attend the icefishing show!

i do not see any sleds with gas augers... my issue is I have an otter sled that I pull by hand... it fits in my small car nicely but the auger does not fit with everything else

Yes, they work great! We do a fair amount of fishing at night so I have bells land Frabill lights on them. We get pretty focused on the flashers, it's nice to know when the flag pops... Problem is, I hear them in my sleep now  ;D

Not too shabby Wheez.

I think we used the same skis. LOL   I gotta get a hand auger to mount to mine, I like your holster for yours.

A kick sled inspired by Jimmyclaude.  Right now I just bungee cord the auger to the top.  Eventually I'll get a rack made and put a 3-sided windbreak on it.
