I drill 3 holes as I fish from my Fish Trap Pro. Two holes about 30" apart on front edge and one hole near the seat. I place my camera on my Marcum Compass positioning tool in the single hole near seat so that I can reach it easier. Usually lock the camera so that I can see my lure clearly in one of the front two holes. The other hole I use as a dead stick set up. This works for me and I have a lot of fun fishing with the camera. IMO there is no need to camo the camera as the fish shaped design on my Aqua Vu acts as an attractor.
