Just trying to get a jump on Conditions, heading up a week from today and I know a lot can change. Is there a bunch of slush right now? I know they are supposed to get a couple inches of snow tonight. I see IceMan was looking for smelts in the area last weekend, and if you need some next weekend I could bring you some on Square. hahahahaha. Thanks for any info.

I was on a local lake (not Square) this past Sunday and there was a fairly solid crust (3 or 4") over an 8 - 10" layer of slush/water, with the solid ice under that. It's been fairly warm during the day, but still below freezing at night this week.
Good luck!

Stpeters store said they got 150 dozen smelt this week, spoke to someone that said same as Mark did

Thank you very much

Friends fishing today Limestone point said conditions are perfect.

Looking forward to heading up Friday. Should be a good trip to end the season.

Just wanted to report that the conditions on the lake were as good as I have experienced all year. If you get a chance to get up there this week and fish, I wouldn't pass it up. We did pretty well in two and a half days. No monsters but a steady bite.

Thanks for the report. Glad you had a good trip.
