Iceshanty Site Wide How Much Ice POLL?
« on: Feb 09, 2018, 09:04 AM »
Checking to see what the ice conditions are like for everyone in FEB this year? Last year at this time our ice was melting fast right now. This year in NE WI we have 20" plus most places and it's super cold with great solid Full Sized Truck ice right now.

1. Open water
2. Ice but its shot
3. Walking only ice
4. Four wheelers ice
5. Small Car ice
6. Full Sized Trucks ice
7. Drifter Type ice!
What's cooler than being cool? Ice cold

Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to ice fish, have his wife mad for ever.

Southeast Nebraska -- 8 to 12 inches of hard ice, and holding. Looking at the forecast, we might even make it to St. Pat's day

Anything local to me here in Central New Jersey is now pretty much open water - N.NJ might have a few places with some fishable stuff, but it is waning fast
Now is the time for all good men and women to engage in the sport of ice fishing

Adirondacks mountains of NY, some smaller and medium size lakes you can drive a truck on, larger lakes are more suitable for 4 wheelers and snowmobiles, and some they are landing planes!
