Recent Canyon Ferry update/info
« on: Jan 19, 2023, 10:48 PM »
Us gals were thinking of hitting Canyon Ferry this weekend.

Anyone got a recent ice report re Silos or other popular trout or Walleye fishing spots?

We’d love whatever tips you are willing to share!

For Canyon Ferry, particularly the Silo's area I would call the Silo's and see what they have to say.

Fished duck creek yesterday. Was real slow, we hooked into only a few in 30 feet of water.

I fished the Duck Ponds area a few days before this freezing weather. Ice was almost too thick for my auger. Only 3 1'2 feet of water below the over 25 inches of ice. Still caught trout but if the ice gets thicker... I saw some guys way out in the middle. May try that to find deeper water and maybe thinner ice.
Tight Lines,
