Anyone have any plans to make their way up here this year?  I hear at Winifred you have to pay the lodge to drive on the lake.  I'd like to get out this year, never got out once last year.

Out in the boonies I cannot think a lodge would even be open this time of year.

That being said no one owns the lake and cannot charge for access, however if they own the  boat launch that could be where the greedy buggars are trying to put it to the ice fisherman.

Too many good lakes up north to mess with this one especially one that is hard to get into.
