Vexilar FL 20 9/19 Dual beam

Picked up another dual beam, just so nice to be able to dial DOWN the sensitivity in either cone to fine tune it. I can't seem to do that with the new FLX 30, even on low power etc. In shallow water it's a blob compared to the FL 20 with gain turned down. Any other Vexilar lovers notice this? The old dual beams sure are nice for being able to go from deep to super shallow and still have a crisp return.

Its unbelievable to me this is still an issue with vexilar.  I have a buddy that has 2 S-cables on his flx12 so he can fish shallow miss backwaters. he also has the flx28 and he won't use it in shallow situations.  even with lp/weed mode its a bit blobby.
