Ruby Reds?
« on: Sep 26, 2006, 01:11 AM »
Hello, Here in MA ruby reds are legal to use and am wondering if you peeps have a preference in using these.  I myself have had success with them just as much as regular shiners.

Ive never used them, but hear they just give the same results. On a few occasions, I hear they are better for perch but their also a little more money.

About 12 or 15 yr's ago here in Pa. they were the "hot" thing for trout fishing in streams. I used them several times and never wasted my money after that.
